You only have until Sunday, Aug. 15, 2010, to enroll your customers to receive the Fall/Holiday Preferred Customer ProgramSM issue of The Look with an exclusive sampler. Independent Sales Directors, you may want to consider enrolling unit members who are in their seventh month of non-ordering and beyond for the Consultant First Look. You never know what might spark a renewed excitement for their Mary Kay businesses.

The direct dial phone number for Consultant Records, (972) 687-4400, has changed. Independent Beauty Consultants may now reach Consultant Records by calling the Consultant Contact Center toll free at (800) 272-9333. Select option 9 then option 1. Sales Directors may reach Consultant Records by calling the Sales Director Contact Center and selecting option 9.

Fragrance, Body Care and Sun Care Phase-Outs

Please note that beginning Sept. 16, 2010, several fragrance items will be phased out and will move to the “Last Chance” section of the Sept. 16, 2010, Consultant order form: the Mary Kay® Eau de Toilette Collection in Sparkling Honeysuckle® (Eau de Toilette, Body Lotion, Shower Gel and Sugar Scrub); Affection® Eau de Parfum and Elige® Eau de Parfum, along with their corresponding samplers. All of these fragrances are phasing out due to low sales and lackluster performance. From time to time, we make updates to our product line in an effort to concentrate on items with the broadest appeal and which have the highest potential for sales for you.

We’re also making some updates to our body care line. In an effort to help you focus on selling core line products, we are phasing out the body care items that have proven to be less popular with your customers. Effective Sept. 16, the Mary Kay® Body Care Collection in Red Tea & Fig and Lotus & Bamboo (Nourishing Body Lotion, Loofah Cleanser, Shower Gel and Deo Body Spritzer); and the Mary Kay® After Sun Replenishing Gel will be phased out and will move to the “Last Chance” section of the Sept. 16, 2010, Consultant order form. We appreciate your support of these changes.
