UPDATE! Priority Awards Seminar Registration
Great news! If you did not qualify for Priority Seminar Registration in the Dec. 16, 2009 – March 15, 2010, quarter, you can still qualify to sit with your unit at Seminar 2010! All you have to do is achieve Star Consultant status in the March 16 – June 15, 2010, quarterly contest and register for Seminar 2010 (space permitting) by June 30.
Non-priority attendees who register by June 30, 2010, will sit behind all priority qualifiers based on yearly unit retail production as of May month-end.
New Changes to Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover
Customers who purchase Mary Kay® Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover (new part number 10029726) after March 16 may notice a slight difference in the product. That’s because an ingredient previously used is no longer offered, and the formula has been updated with a substitute ingredient that is highly comparable.
Please be assured that there is no difference in the effectiveness of the product; however, it will leave less residue, feel less drying, and feel even more lightweight than before.
This ingredient change also necessitates a price change. Effective with the June 16, 2010 Consultant order form, the suggested retail price will increase to $15, keeping it highly competitive.
Mary Kay Ranks Number 1 on Brand Keys’ 2010 List
Mary Kay is sitting pretty as number one on Brand Keys’ 2010 Customer Loyalty Engagement Index in both the Cosmetics (Mass Merchandiser) and Moisturizing Skincare (Mass Merchandiser) categories! According to the Brand Keys press release, winners “are those brands best able to engage consumers and create loyal customers.” The current Index, according to Brand Keys, examines customers’ relationships with 518 brands in 71 categories.
In a Jan. 30 Brandweek article by Noreen O’Leary (“Report: Starbucks, Wells Fargo Surge in Customer Loyalty”), Brand Keys Founder and President Robert Passikoff said that “although the economy hasn’t improved much in recent months, consumers expect more for their money. That means they want a strong brand for a good price.” You know from your own experience with your customers that women aren’t just considering price, they’re comparing a product’s benefits and the brands reputation—two areas where Mary Kay shines!
