Day 8 – Crepes (E)

So, I wanted to try the Chocolate Money Crepes on page 267 but I’m not crazy about chocolate and I’m not monkeying around!  I have to be in the mood for chocolate.  So, I used the Strawberry Slim Belly Jelly I made in the previous post.  YUMMY!!  I will do this again!

Day 7 of THM – Strawberry Creamsicle Skinny Truffle (S)

Still loving this diet!  Today I made Strawberry Creamsicle Skinny Truffle.  This is a modification of the Skinny Chocolate Truffles on Page 384 that someone posted in a facebook group. 

Follow the original skinny chocolate truffle recipe as is…only instead of the cocoa use powdered freeze dried strawberries. I powdered up 1 ounce which ended up being about 5 tablespoons. I made 18 truffles from the recipe and there should be less than 1 carb/truffle with my figuring!

I’m still really excited about this diet. It’s definitely something that I can stick to. The food is great!

Day 3 of the Trim Healthy Mama Diet!  Blackened Chicken with Mango and Black Beans from page 66 of the cookbook for dinner.  It is a new favorite!!  I can’t wait to have it again!

Trim Healthy Mama – Day 1

Today is Day 1 of my journey on starting the Trim Healthy Mama Meal Plan.  I have the basics down and I’m diving in!  Goal is to lose 100 pounds!

I love the humor in the book and see this as something I can stick to!  The first thing I made from the book is Good Girl Moonshine on pg 397.  This is an all day sipper and I sucked it down a little too fast but it is something I can get used to.
